Each day, I reflect upon a word or a phrase inspired by the readings of the day. I encourage you to do the same and perhaps incorporate that word or phrase into your daily prayer.
“Can it indeed be that God dwells on earth?” (1 Kings 8:27)
DOES GOD DWELL ON EARTH?: The above question was asked aloud by Solomon to his subjects.
Perhaps a better question for us today is, Do we ALLOW God to dwell on earth?
Where God dwells is completely up to us. Do we allow God to dwell in our hearts? Do we allow God to be a part of our day – a part of the decisions we make? Present in us when we interact with others?
God is not only present in the church buildings in which we worship. We worship God there, then take him with us out into the world.
Are we allowing God to dwell on earth?
